Strange Ideas

Sometimes during the midnight hour I have Strange Ideas.  Case in point: whilst staring at the computer screen and contemplating the vast amounts of university work I have yet to do I said to myself, "let's start a livejournal!"  I've visited livejournal before, chasing links to interesting fanfiction, but always managed to persuade myself that signing up would Not Be Sensible.

Sense, it seems, abandons me after midnight.

The first time I abandoned sense and wrote fanfiction of my own, that wasn't part of an RPG, was in 2005, and this was it:

Rightly Ineffable

Rating: PG
A Good Omens fanfiction: Crowley lets Aziraphale know that their 'relationship' seems to have changed from where he's standing.

Summary: 'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.'  The mutant problem seen from a different angle.  Based on X3 trailers and spoilers.
Disclaimer: Unfortunately the X Men movies and franchise belong to Marvel and Fox and people with money, not me.

The Babysitter

The Babysitter

X Men fanfiction

Summary: Why "black leather does not constitute a date" and Logan has 'fun' babysitting.  Much amusement is had by the Professor.

Author Note: When I wrote this I hadn't yet seen the third film and I was wondering if Logan would ever be asked to babysit again.  This is an AU, set sometime after Stryker attacking the mansion in X2, but with Jean still alive.

Disclaimer: The X Men franchise belongs to Marvel and Fox. If I ever earn enough to buy them I’ll make sure you know about it. ;o) Shrek is mentioned, which has nothing to do with me, and Shostakovich’s Symphony number 5 belongs to Shostakovich, surprising as that may be.

A Normal Friday Night

 A Normal Friday Night

X Men fanfiction
Originally written 09/06/06 as a requested companion piece to
'The Babysitter', which doesn't need to be read first, but does explain the black leather.  Both are AU, set some time after the events of X2, but with Jean alive.
Rating: PG

Summary: Jubilee plots mayhem and what
really happened during Logan’s second attempt at babysitting. The Professor is still amused.

Disclaimer: The X Man franchise belongs to Marvel and Fox, Shrek belongs to Dreamworks, Scooby Doo to Warner Brothers and the plot belongs to Jubilee, because plotting is what that girl does best. The “some classical music” that the Professor is listening to is Shostakovich’s Symphony 5 and “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” is the proverb, adapted from a play by William Congreve, which Bobby mangles.

Thanks to Daydream1 who wanted to see the actual events of Friday Night, which got Jubilee talking. Loudly. ;o)
