Downwards type news: I have posted my last fic at fwhg_ldws. I've had really great fun coming up with ideas for those challenges, and I know that I'm going to enjoy cheering everyone else on until the end of this round, because there are some fantastic writers over there. And wonderful mod-ly folk. :o)

And going up:

- I received my weasley_fest  assignment. There may have been a moment of plot bunny breeding which had to be quashed in the face of an unfinished spring_fling  fic. I shall go back and smile at it a lot when said spring_fling  story is finally finished.

- Prompts are available to claim at flames_n_tatsfor the National Charlie Month Fest, which is for April. :o)

- And, ohmygosh, I am one of the very lucky people in a prize draw to win an Advanced Readers copy of The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brenan! *flails* If you haven't heard of this author, who has in the past written fanfiction and parodies under the names Maya and mistful, allow me to tell you that she is so fantastic that I had the release date for her first ever novel written on my calender before I even knew what it was going to be about. June 2nd 2009. I can promise not to give anyone any spoilers, but I can't promise not to collapse from sheer excitement the second I get ahold of this treasure. Excuse me, I need to go and dance around the house with a dazed smile on my face now.

Well, actually, I need to go and cook dinner, make lunch for work tomorrow, and write stories. But there will be dancing and a dazed smile. For quite some time.
