Now Edited: Film Quotes Meme
Now edited for those people who'd like to know which films the unguessed quotes came from.

I thought I'd join in with the meme that's been taking over my f-list :o)

-         Pick 20 of your favourite movies.

-         Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.

-         Post them here for everyone to guess.

-         Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

-         No Googling/using IMDb search functions.

*waves* Hello! I friended you recently, as your fanfic is rather divine, and it's high time I left some kind of comment. ;)

Ah, this meme is just too much fun.

2. Ever After
4. Fellowship of the Ring
6. Damn, that's familiar, but I can't place it.

10. Pirates of the Caribbean: COTBP
11. Also familiar, and also cannot place it.

*facepalm* #5, I meant, for Fellowship. The typo demons strike again!

I googled the ones that I couldn't figure out, because they would've driven me crazy otherwise, and all are excellent choices.
inkvoicesinkvoices on February 26th, 2008 08:01 pm (UTC)
I wondered if you'd meant 5, but I don't like to assume lol.

Heh, thanks. I'm pretty eclectic in films (and music), so I tried to choose ones I own or have watched a few times. :o)

13 is from The Matrix, yes?

Some of them are so familiar, but I just can't place them...
inkvoicesinkvoices on February 26th, 2008 09:44 pm (UTC)
Yep it is :o)

I was a bit cruel really - nearly all of them are big name films, but I chose quotes that aren't so well-known. In my defence, they are some of my favourite quotes from those films. *grins*

Nineteen is Stardust. *loves* !

And is three The Prestige? If so, *also loves* ! If not... oh well.
inkvoicesinkvoices on February 27th, 2008 12:23 am (UTC)
Yes, and yes. :o)

I kidnapped people and dragged them to see Stardust when it came out. They forgave me, since they enjoyed it. (Although they did say that meant I couldn't complain when I was kidnapped to watch a Bollywood film later.)

The Prestige has all the magic-parts right and it has plot and two great leads and Micheal Caine and... *dies happy*

6. The Sound of Music!

18 sounds so familiar!

inkvoicesinkvoices on February 27th, 2008 03:30 am (UTC)
Yay, someone got 6!

Heh, 18 is one of the less-known films, I think. ;o)
